About the Cell

As per the guidelines of UGC, NAAC & the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, the Anti–Sexual Harassment Cell is established to ensure a healthy, respectful and secure environment for students, faculty and staff.

Objectives of the Cell
  • Develop guidelines & norms for a policy against sexual harassment.
  • Establish principles & procedures for prevention and redressal.
  • Implement a structured framework for addressing complaints.
  • Prepare short-term & long-term action plans for campus safety.

Full Policy & Guidelines

Sexual harassment—verbal, physical, emotional or digital—is unlawful and will not be tolerated. The institution ensures prompt redressal and a safe environment as mandated by statutory bodies.

Protection Against Retaliation

Retaliation against complainants or witnesses is strictly prohibited. The institution ensures:

  • Immediate action to stop retaliatory behaviour.
  • Required safety and protective measures.
  • Counselling support for complainant and accused.
Institutional Responsibility

All complaints are taken seriously and investigated promptly. Appropriate disciplinary action is taken whenever required, regardless of whether the behaviour fits the exact legal definition of sexual harassment.

Note: The institution promotes a campus environment free from harassment and ensures confidential, unbiased and speedy redressal.
